MTV Spring Break
I went to Cancun, Mexico for MTV Spring Break during my College's Spring Break Week.
First off, my friends and I decided to go as a group. In total, there were eight of us. We ended up getting a package deal that was all inclusive. Unfortunetly, there were extra prices added on at the beginning of our trip, like all inclusive liquor and food, but it was worth it.
First however, are flight there was cancelled. We decided to make the best of it and befriend the rest of the kids going on the same trip. We ended up hooking up Labtops and watched dvds together while drinking liquor that we had smuggeled into our carry-ons. After hours of sleeping on airport floors together, our flight was rescheduled and we headed to Cancun, Mexico.
Once there, we fixed our packages and started our vacation. I reccommend the all-inclusive deal. It's much cheaper in the end. I also reccommend bringing nice clothes to go out in. I didn't realize this at the time, and had to borrow some of my friends clothes. We began each day with margeritas by the pool over breakfast, and spent the rest of the days at the beach. Each night we went to a different club and partied with the MTV Crowd. I reccommend, the Booze Cruise, and the Foam Party. The Foam Party was the best, but don't forget to wear shoes that wont fall off. Things get lost pretty easy in the foam.
I also don't reccommend drinking too much in the pool bar. I got stuck in the deep end after having too many tequila shots and had to drag myself out.
I do reccommend however, trying everything (good that is) at least once. Meet as many new people as you can. I found that since everyone was around the same age, and there for the same thing, they were all so nice to each other. I made so many great friends. and don't forget your camera! I have photos to last a lifetime now.
I didn't sleep for 7 days, but it was totally worth it!
